In his debut year at Louis Vuitton’s men’s division, Pharrell Williams showcased a captivating collection in Paris, seamlessly marrying commercial prowess with artistic storytelling. While his innate ability to sell merchandise was never in doubt, the challenge lay in proving himself as an artistic designer.

Drawing inspiration from his home state, Virginia, the collection unfolded a rodeo narrative, shedding light on the often-overlooked diversity of original cowboys. Collaborations with artists from Dakota and Lakota tribes, Texas bootmaker Goodyear, and a notable partnership with Timberland on boots added unique dimensions.

Williams explored denim intricately, introduced a terracotta red suit with a turquoise-brooched Bolo tie, and was surprised by focusing on true-boots over sneakers.
