Stonebwoy Honoured With Seven Awards At TGMA 25th Industry Mixer

Ghanaian Afro-dancehall superstar Stonebwoy received seven awards at the 25th TGMA “Industry Mixer” on Saturday, July 13. The event, organised by Charterhouse Ghana, recognised Stonebwoy’s outstanding achievements at the 2024 Ghana Music Awards.

Held at the Silver Jubilee edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards on June 1, 2024, in Accra, Stonebwoy emerged victorious in seven categories. His accolades included “Best Reggae and Dancehall Artiste” for a record eighth time, “Best Album/EP,” “Best International Collaboration,” “Record of the Year,” “Best Songwriter,” “Best Collaboration,” and the prestigious “Artiste of the Year.”

The “Industry Mixer” brought together key figures and stakeholders in Ghana’s creative industry to celebrate Stonebwoy’s remarkable success. At the event, he was presented with his official TGMA plaques after delivering a stellar performance.

Stonebwoy’s achievements at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards positioned him as the second most-awarded artiste in a single night since the awards began, trailing only Ofori Amponsah’s achievement in 2006.

In addition to his awards, Stonebwoy recently released a new single, “Your Body.” The song, which celebrates African beauty and self-love, features a blend of pop, R&B, and reggae. Stonebwoy effortlessly switches between singing and rapping, creating a seductive and playful vibe. “Your Body” is a teaser for his upcoming sixth studio album, expected later this year.
