Renowned billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk announced that he would be assuming the role of Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at The Walt Disney Company.

The announcement of Musk’s supposed appointment was made by the entrepreneur himself via his official X handle on Monday. Musk, known for his groundbreaking work at Tesla and SpaceX, expressed his enthusiasm to collaborate closely with the Disney team in reshaping their content strategy. The said firm is a prominent American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate.

Musk, in a post on April 1, stated, “Excited to join @Disney as their Chief DEI Officer. I can’t wait to work with Bob Iger & Kathleen Kennedy to make their content MORE woke! Even the linguini.”

Few hours after the announcement, the billionaire entrepreneur disclosed that it was an April’s Fool joke.

“So many April Fool’s jokes that are actually plausible given the increasingly insane real things happening in the world! The best April fools joke is that I am joining “Deeznuts” aka Disney as the Chief DEI officer. The best part is that legacy media thinks it’s a real headline”, he stated.
