Insecurity: Kidnappers Attacks GUO Motors, Kill Driver, Others Abducted

Armed kidnappers on Friday, reportedly killed a yet-to-be-identified driver of a private transport company, GUO commuting along Akoko – Kabba road, leaving a child left to herself while other 18 passengers were abducted.

One of the eyewitnesses, Adekanbi Sunday whose bus was three vehicles away revealed in a social media post that the kidnappers attacked four vehicles on the highway, but the GUO vehicle took the main hit.

According to Sunday;

The GUO bus was behind us before the driver ran past us, only for him to be shot directly, only the little girl was rescued by the Nigeria Army, as at the time of this report, the kidnappers and victims were nowhere to be found because the soldiers couldn’t go into the bush, no drones, no helicopter, nothing at all, these guys operated freely.

Sunday exclaimed, “Our help is in the name of God, creator of heaven and earth.”

The assailants are yet to take responsibility for the attack or demand ransom to release the victims as their modus operandi.

Meanwhile, the military and police force have yet to make a statement regarding the attack despite being at the crime scene.
