The much-anticipated Hollywood film, “The Book of Clarence,” featuring stellar soundtracks by Yemi Alade and Adekunle Gold, is gearing up to captivate Nigerian audiences when it hits cinemas nationwide on April 12, 2024.

Amidst heightened anticipation following the announcement of their involvement in the movie’s soundtrack earlier this year, fans of Adekunle Gold and Yemi Alade can now mark their calendars for the film’s cinematic debut. Adekunle Gold collaborates with American rappers Doja Cat and Kodak Black on the track “Jeezu,” while Yemi Alade joins forces with Jeymes Samuel on “Sacred Love.”

The soundtrack album, released on December 12, 2023, is available on the popular streaming platform Spotify.

Crafted by writer and director Jeymes Samuel, the biblical comedy-drama unfolds the tale of a young man navigating life in 33 A.D., striving for a better existence until he encounters the profound forces of the rising Messiah. The film’s production boasts names like Jeymes Samuel, Jay-Z, James Lassiter, and Tendo Nagenda.

Beyond Alade and Adekunle Gold, the film features the notable presence of award-winning actor David Oyelowo, enriching the movie’s ensemble cast.
