Wike Warns Against City Plan Violators

The Ministerial Task Force on City Sanitation and Management, FCT has warned against violators of city plans in 2024.

The Director of Development Control, FCT Administration, Mr Mukhtar Galadima, gave the warning while interacting with journalists after the committee’s end-of-year celebration in Abuja on Friday.

Galadima stated that the master plan’s provisions and other development criteria were guiding the growth of Abuja, characterizing it as a product of law.

He suggested that those wishing to build properties in the capital city adhere to the master plan’s regulations as well as other pertinent rules.

He explained that the event was to celebrate the end of 2023, following the modest results achieved by members of the task force.

Also, the Secretary of FCTA Command and Control, Dr. Peter Olumuji, said the task force had resolved to carry out a series of enforcement activities in 2024.

This, according to him, is to ensure the restoration of the Abuja master plan in line with the directive of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

While commending the Heads of Security Agencies for ensuring the availability of their officers in carrying out enforcement activities, Olujimi added that all security agencies in the task force had pledged to double their efforts to achieve more results in 2024.
